All,
I just received my new membership (x-mas present) to FineWoodworking.com. So far I am impressed with what I see – the vidios are easy and fast and there seems to be a vast array of subject matter available to woodworkers of all specialties.
Since I haven’t had much time yet to explore what’s available I was curious as to the experience other members have had. Do you find it helpful with current projects? Do you find that you use it more for basic interest or to find specific information? Etc.
Thanks and Merry Christmas,
Dean

Ditto, read and learn
Ditto again..... a gift you will cherish.
I usually find something that will improve a project just before or just after I complete it.
Merry Christmas
Season's greatings and welcome,
If you look, you will find. There is an enormous amount of information at your finger tips if you start digging but what I have found invaluable so far, is the community here at knots. These people take a technique and make it an art form, problems are solved, values are established and skills are acquired. Just listen in. Also I love to cross read as much as I can even if the subject isn't of much value to me right now because a thread will almost always contain a reference to a compagny, a jig, a product, another technique or a trick that opens up a world of possibilities. Of course this is the take of a new comer to woodworking that is only on his first project ( a workbench).
Above all, enjoy
Rehab.
