My Fine Woodworking Archive 1975-2022 won’t work

Anyone else having this problem? I bought the Archive USB in 2023 and my computer refuses to recognize it. It says: “The disk you attached was not readable by this computer.” I have tried at least 15 times to contact Taunton Press, AIM media, and every customer service number or email they have, but no one will help. I’d really like to use this, but no one answers. Anyone else have this? Thoughts?

Hello Norswede,
Some questions:
• Are you running an Apple Mac or a PC?
• What is your computer's operating system (what chip)?
• What's your computer's file system?
You can find this information for Mac in "About This Mac" under the Apple icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
As for your thumb drive the format must be compatible with your computer's operating system. If your thumb drive is formatted as APFS (Apple File System) or ExFat it should run on your Mac.
If you're a Mac user find someone with a PC and see if the thumb drive will work there? Then, once downloaded on a PC you may be able to convert the info into something that will work on your Mac
Hope this helps.
Noel
Correction: The Apple icon is in the upper left of your screen.
Norswede,
I replied to your email about this two days ago, 14 minutes after you emailed me. Have you not heard back from CS? If not, I told you to let me know.
