Hi All,
I purchased a new Record 52-1/2ED and it came without mounting instructions (go figure). I suppose with it’s popularity there would be some fine resources for me to get a bunch of mounting configurations. I’m sure I have the wherewithal to figure this one out but would love to hear from you more experienced folks first.

Record vises usually come with an instruction sheet that they copied, illegally I believe, from Scott Landis's Workbench Book published by Taunton Press. I'd go back to whoever sold you the vise and get a copy of the instructions. I think that Fine Woodworking Magazine ran an article on installing a Record type of vise in the last year or two.
