Has anyone mixed liquid trans-tint with epoxy? I need to fill some holes and cracks I was thinking that colored epoxy would work great. Thanks.

I don't know about TransTint. I do know that West System epoxy reported some tests with a number of different pigments. It used W.D. Lockwood dyes in several forms including the water soluable and the alcohol soluable both added as powder to the epoxy. It also tested adding the W.D. Lockwood alcohol soluble dye mixed in alcohol before adding to the epoxy. All three of these combinations seemed to have only minor effects on the adhesive properties of the epoxy at either 2% or 20% amounts. RIT liquid dye was added as well, but when 20% was added it resulted in a major reduction in adhesion.

I have had allot of success with C.A. glue. Mixing it with various different mediums. Ground copper, ground plastic. Coffee, cyan pepper. Just experiment and have fun.
Ground copper, cayenne pepper???? never thought of either of those. I tried the transtint, worked good. I was concerned about adhesion and curing. I was unsure if it would cure or not. I used 2 drops of medium brown with about a half dollar size of mixed epoxy. I will definately try the ground copper with super glue. That's a new one. Thanks.

Copper and super glue? Pretty sure you won't get barnacles growth on that.
