I have been using the 5″ version for several months (and recently ordered more).   I am very pleased with them.   I currently use them to connect my Mini Gorilla dust collector 5″ hose to my SawStop PCS and my router table.   I have a new jointer planner being delivered in a few weeks and will use the new ones for that.

They make it very easy to move the dust collection hose between machines.   As the article says, they connect easily and are self aligning.   For shops that use a movable hose approach for dust collection, I think they are great.
