Looking to build a teacart for a Law firm. The Head honcho, (My wifes boss) , was really good to us during my wifes brain surgery. Put us up in a hotel, fed us on the company card and morally supported us through-out the ordeal. Would like to show my appreciation the only way I know how. I am thinking 4 wheels as opposed to two. Low pile carpeting everywhere so bumps are not an issue. Lift out tray. These are just ideas. Maybe you have some links for me. I typed in “teacart” on the intenet and found one photo, but the angle did not shwo enough. All the others I saw were wrought iron.
thanks for the help.

I you are real good, buy a nice wide thick board the right length and route and carve a tradtional pie crust top.
The larger the wheels the better.
Lee Valley has a set of plans along with the wheels for the cart.

thanks. wheels alittle high though..(gulp) Plans are right what I was looking for
FWW had an article on building a teacart in Issue 92 (May/June 1990). It showed how to build the two large wooden wheels.
You'll probably have to design your own cart. I once made a cocobolo "tea chest" about 2" high, about 10" x12" which had compartments like a jewelry box so that when you opened the top there were 8 different types of tea bags available. Something like this might be a nice touch for the cart. You could carve the firm's name in the top, or get an engraved brass plaque from a trophy shop.
