Why limit yourself to what's available locally ?I recently bought a 16" MiniMax (the smaller E16, not the MM16) and love it, and the company is fantastic to deal with. A factor for me was that it is made in Italy.Depending on your budget, I'd look at:MiniMax
Grizzly
Laguna (LT3000 maybe, or 16HD for more power)
Felder N4400 (rare in the US but great feedback in Europe and Australia)
Agazzini
and of course the usual suspects, PowerMatic, Jet etc. Some of these companies provide local references to you can talk to actual users of the products and look at them firsthand. Ask them !You'll get plenty of opinions here , and FWW has several articles and tests on it, too.It all depends on your budget, too - you can usually spend between $1000 and $3000 on a 16" bandsaw. Cheers,Patrick
Mel,I am worried about ya' buddy. We all are.roc

Roc,Nazard has it right. Blame it on the Bossa Nova, which is Spanish for Northern Virginia. You are right. I shouldn't have written but felt the urge. You could easily tell that I didn't have anything useful to say. But that Festool jig saw is very very nice. :-)
