Kreg – Foreman semi-automatic pocket jig
Jut purchased a Kreg Foreman pocket hole jig. What a fantastic machine. it reduces the time to do a set of rails by 90%. It does require a substantial compressor, but what a pleasure it is to use. the machine is made very well and setup is a breeze. I was up and running in ten minutes out of the box. Just thought someone might appreciate this information. Joe

How much air does it require, cost? Thanx!!
Hi. I really don't know how much air it requires. I called Kreg technical service and talked to Mark. I wanted to know if the sears compressor would be adequate and he told me he bought the same on and it worked fine. You need something that will provide 150 psi and recycle at about 110-120 psi. the Craftsman 19541 worked great. the compressor cost me $399. less 10%. the Kreg Forman system cost $749. I can't tell you how well this unit works. it's well worth the investment.
If you're worried about air check out the PC Pocket cutter. Its two PC routers working to cut a pocket and drill a hole. Works great. Only downside s that plugging the holes is difficult. I love mine and the cost is the same. Maybe less?
