Picked up an old wooden Ohio Tools plane with an 1 1/4 skewed blade. The body is cut like a rabbit, but no fence or depth gauge. It’s got 3 round holes up near the top (like finger holes) and is marked 11c if that helps. My guess is it’s a shoulder plane but thought I see what you folks think.
Thanks,
Greg

It's a rabbet plane. Rabbet planes don't have fences or depth stops. They're intended to work to layout or gauge lines and are thus more accurate than the adjustable fillister planes with adjustable fences and adjustable depth stops.
Shoulder planes are low angle planes and aren't skewed. But then many rabbet planes aren't skewed and I prefer the square rabbets for most things.
