Evening all
I’m building a closet floor to ceiling . Lead time on 1′-3″ x 8′- 0″ doors 4-6 wk. Ordered inch and half true pan ( ultra light)I don’t know where they got the name from . I was thinking of using Blum # 55879 thick door hinges, but they are for up to 1 1/4″ doors. I like the ajustability factor of these. Did I mention these doors are to look like a flat wall and will be papered.
Thanks much Chris

Sometimes when I would do a paneled library or office with floor to ceiling wood panels I would need to put in a "secret" door.
For these applications I used large SOSS hinges. Whitechapel also sells a similar type hinge. SOSS also makes a router template to help with installation.

I agree with JP go with SOSS they have all sorts of load ratings. Give the a call and I am sure they will point you towards the right model.

Thanks JP and Reinvent for your replies , hadn't thought of those. I'm assuming you have to be dead on with these,as there are know adjustments. Will call this am and get the skinny.
