Well, I’ve been searching thrift stores for a long time looking for whatever.
Recently, I went to a Goodwill. While walking around, I found some nice woods in old, outdated furniture. For example, they had a table with a maple butcher top about 1-3/4″ to 2″ thick. Cost: $25. My first thought was WORKBENCH top. I’ve been to several other places and have found several pieces where wood could be recovered and reused.
