Congratulations Scott!!! When I saw the "I'm a Dad" subject line I figured it was you. Your baby is beautiful - I showed my wife and now she wants one ;).
Did you get your baby furniture completed on time? Enjoy
Will
Ya all built. I will get some pics up as soon as I can.
As far as having a baby go for it. I wouldn't trade he for anything.

Scott-
Congrats
8 lbs is quite a package for being 4 weeks early. Glad to hear all are well.
Peace.

Scott -- Congratulations! Wish I could come up with a more original word. How about "groovy," "cool," or "excellent!"
Best of health to your growing family!

Good for you, Scott, I was hoping everything worked out okay. sure will be nice to have someone to sweep up the shop in a few years - kid's gotta earn his keep, no?

Well Scott I was thinking more along the lines of driveway shoveler. My dad scared me by telling me that he will have to teach the little fellow to use a handplane on the concrete floor (much like I did when I was younger).Scott C. Frankland

I have 2 kids now myself. One 2.5 and one 2 mos. My 2 year old came into the basement shop the other day and annouced,"Daddy, out! MINE Sawroom." After stopping laughing, I told that the day would come when he could pull that off, but that day was not here yet.
Good Luck, and Good health, from one Crazed Canuckle Head to another.

Congrats Scott,
You don't know me because I'm new to this forum, but I know about being a dad for the first time. It took 49 yrs. before I matured enough for God to trust me with a little one. She's 2 now, and we're having a ball.
Enjoy,
Jerry
Congratulations, Scott!
Nothing can compare in greatness than having a child, particularly your first one! Then, unforunately, you blink once, and he's in elementary school - blink again and he's in high school - and before you realize it, years have passed and he will be an adult on his own.
The key is to love and cherish every moment with your son. Be conscious of the fact that every day you are creating wonderful memories for him when he grows up - and the special ones to him will most likely be times you have forgotten, or were not aware of in the first place.
Fatherhood is one of the greatest things on this earth! It is not an event, but rather, it is an adventurous journey for the rest of your life! Enjoy!
Tom
