Has anyone experience with the new Grizzly 15″ wide belt sander model G0644?
How well does the dust pickup work?
Is belt tracking a problem?
Are you satisfied with the device?
Any disappointments?
Is three horsepower sufficient?
Thanks
Moksha

Hi Moksha,
I do not have that one but I have had the other 5 hp 15" model for a few years.
It is a great machine for it's purpose I have a very large 7.5hp dust collector which works very well with the sander.
3 hp.... I don't know, I have to take a pretty small bite with the 5 hp model.

Thanks much for the prompt reply. The horsepower was an issue in my mind; however, that bigger unit that you have would be a difficult rascal to get into my workshop. Pretty much have figured out that with 3 hp I would be taking pretty small bites on each pass. As I have a hobby shop, and plenty of time; that might be manageable. Thanks for your reply... I have quite a few Grizzly tools and have been very satisfied with the quality. Moksha
Your welcome,Not much diff in size mine is the G9983. But I understand when every cm counts :-)I have 6 Grizz machines & have been very happy with them for the most part.Best,Scott W.
