I have a concrete floor in my shop that is painted with a light gray acrylic epoxy that has a low luster sheen. I am thinking that it would stay cleaner and be easier to clean if I put a clear sealer on it. If I make it gloss, will the reflections from the ceiling fluorescents be annoying? Home depot only had gloss sealer, but if gloss is not a good choice I could shop around and find a low luster clear sealer. I like the looks of the floor with the light gray epoxy, but it gets dirty very easily and is hard to clean. The low luster surface also gets black scuff marks easily that are hard to remove.

Hi Bill,
I don't know whether it would be a problem with concrete, but I would add a little silica to your top coat to give some extra traction. I have an MDF floor in my shop and painted it with a gloss marine enamel. I found that a little sawdust on the floor turned it into a skating rink. Next step was a top coat with some silica added.
They sell a polyester fiber product to add to the garage floor paints that makes them non-skid.
I bought some at HomeDesperate when I bought the epoxy paint to do my garage floor, but they wouldn't mix it in. I had to do that.
Silica won't hurt concrete one bit.
