I have cabinets that I want to spray with a colored lacquer, glaze and then top coat with a clear lacquer.
Any suggestions as to the glaze I should use?

You might want to check out M.L. Campbell's website. They have some fantastic finishes, including some with pigments for the color coat and very good glazes. Their topcoats (Magnamax in particular) is easy to apply and is a very good and durable finish.
