Hi everyone,
I know this question has been ask so many times…but if you’re not in that type of project, you kind of skip it; my fault.
So here it is.
What to use to finish the inside of a drawer cabinet and the drawers so you don’t have any smell later on.
I was thinking of applying only shellac…but there might just be something else out there.
Have a good evening all,
pierre

Pierre,
Is this for a new drawer or old one?
Shellac would also be my first choice also.
Just a note; the French used to add a little gum benzoin, which is soluble in alcohol, to their shellac. Benzoin has a very small percentage of vanilla and it would impart a slight sweet aroma to the interior.
