We just had some white quartersawn oak kitchen cabinets installed and we love them.  They are finished with Sherwin Williams Wheat stain.  I love the variation in the wood, but there is one door that is in a prominent location that seems to have taken the stain differently across the board (it appears to be one board, not a few glued together).  There is a fairly sizeable patch that is slightly lighter than the rest of the door.  It sort of jumps out at me when I look at the door.  Is this something that can or should be fixed or is it just variation in wood that should be seen as part of what makes the door interesting?
