I don't know what an Easely vice is but there are a couple carvers vices/holders on this site under miscellaneous.

A google search turned up zip, which is pretty rare, are you sure of the name and the spelling? What kind of vice is it?

Haven't seen them advertised for some time. I think Woodcraft used to sell them. Wouldn't be that hard to make.
That looks a lot like the vise I made years ago to hold gun stocks for checkering. I didn't have the adjustable base, I just changed the angle that I clamped the base in my bench vise.
