I have a Delta T2 fence I took off my contractors saw, that I am going to give my brother to mount on his old craftsman.
Can anyone tell me how far down from the table top the front and rear rail are?
Thanks, jigs.

Does Delta still have online manuals?
I found an installation manual, but all it said was bolt it to the table with the flathead bolts. Which in that case pretty much lines it up. And if I can find out how far down the guides are supposed to be from the table top, I'll know if I have to drill new holes.
Just a thought but couldn't you lock the fence to the guide rail then set the fence on the saw? That should pretty much tell you where the rail needs to be.

A Woodworkers mind should be the sharpest tool in the shop!
That had occurred to me, but it I will be installing it on my brother's saw. I would like to redrill the rails at work, where I have a large metal shop at my disposal, than with a hand drill at the brother's house.
Jigs & The back rails on my Delta Hybrid w/ T-2 are 5/8", the front rails are 7/8" =/-
If you need a closer reading, i can dig out a dial indicator & give you a reading. Dim's are from table top to the top of railings.

Thanks, that should be close enough.
