I love this finish, but the only problem is that they don’t carry it at my local lumber store. Is this rare or something? well time for a road trip

Just make your own. 1/3 varnish, 1/3 boiled linseed oil, 1/3 mineral spirits, adjust the proportions to your own preferences.

In addition to making your own, there are all sorts of equivalent products--Watco, Minwax Antique Oil, General Seal a Cell. If the label instructions say to apply, wait a short time, and wipe or buff off the excess, it is an oil/varnish mix and will quite likely give a similar finish to what ever product labeled Danish Oil that you have been using.
