I am looking for a company that makes plywood in various predyed colors and even with patterns. I found them once by accident and didn’t bookmark it like a fool. I tried to find it on google but couldn’t.
Anyone know of a source?
Also, anyone know a source on the west coast where I can get get plywood from that will laminate it to a custom thickness?
Thanks.

Try north american plywood in santa fe springs ca. They once carried spectrum ply. They are wholesale only, but they can steer you in the right direction. James
That is EXACTLY the company I was looking for and Spectrum ply is the exact product.

Thanks for all the sources, but none of those are it. This is 1mm ply laid up so all the grain runs the same direction. North American is sending a sample of what they have but they don't think it is a a product of theirs.
Here is a link to the sample piece. I am trying to find the material they used.
Thanks once again!

2nd try...
It doesn't even have to be a perfect match, just something similar.

Hunh? Your first post asked for "various predyed colors and even with patterns". Your photo shows a sample without either of those characteristics. What is it that you want?
What I really really want is a winning lottery ticket. I am fishing for the supplier of something I am not familiar with. I posted a picture because I figured it would explain more clearly what I am looking for.
I can't believe the company that made the stock is pressing their own laminate for cheap lowbid jobs like this one. Someone is making this stuff for them.
I am hoping someone here can help out.
To make only a couple, you could use Baltic Birch plywood (or Finnply, or Applyply). It is all-hardwood plywood whose laminates are all the same thickness. Dye it to get the color of the sample photo. The one difference from your photo is that in the plywood, the grain runs two different directions instead of just one.
It wouldn't be too difficult to make a laminate with all the layers running the same direction. You can buy thick veneer -- .1" thick -- from specialty veneer suppliers. Slather many layers with glue and squeeze it in a vacuum veneer press until cured. Done.
This, said, running the plies two ways has big structural advantages over running them just one way. True plywood doesn't split, and maintains its dimensions through changes in ambient humidity. In contrast, when you run the laminates all the same way, the composite is structurally identical to non-laminated wood. It is really a laborious and expensive way to get normal wood. Unless you really like the stripes on the edges, you'd be better off with conventional wood.

Try these people. They are in Anaheim calif. If they don't have it they probably can point you in the right direction. They also have three ply that ranges from 1/64"+/- to 1/4" or more. great people to deal with.
From looking at your gun stock, I think you probably looking at for the "rainbow colored" ply found on some stocks. This stuff probably comes in from Italy or another european country that does alot of pressure dying of veneers I have seen this stuff at a woodworking show but I can't remember where.
By the way, there is a HUGE woodworking machinery show coming up at the end of July/beginning of Aug. I belive this one is going to be in Atlanta. Last year it was in Ca. and they switch back and forth every other year. If you do any kind of manufacturing, this show should not be missed. Talk about a education. I've been told it is larger than the one in Anaheim Ca. If you have never been to it, plan on spending two days at the show
