I am looking at purchasing a Red Devil Create-A-Color Caulk Mixing System. The problem is that there are two different system a professional one and standard one. My project is crown molding in my home, several rooms but not many houses. The Standard is made of Sturdy Plastics and the Professional one is made of metal. The cost is $30.00 for the stardard and $100.00 for the Professional. If someone has used this item let me know.
Thanks

Paddy, is this a one time job? If so forget the red devil system, too expensive.
Remove caulk from a tube of white caulking, you have to pull the bottom off and scrape it out. Mix artist oils until you get a match. Mix with a paint mixer in a drill, then stuff the mix back in the tube. Push bottom back into tube and caulk away. This is messy but works. I saw this done by wood finishers on a commercial job I worked on a number of years ago.
