I am manufacturing small wooden boxes for packing wallets and gift items. In my boxes we used to have finger slot to open the upper lid. I use the 25mm drilling bit because my finger slot size is 12mm Diameter. But when I drill the boxes for finger slot I used to get chipping of wood around the drilling edge. how to solve this problem

Be sure the cutting edge is sharp, a dull edge will tear wood fibres instead of cutting them.
If you're drilling close to the edge of wood, clamp two pieces of scrap above and below the stock, then drill.
