   Alan Breed has a set of drawings, but you had better be sitting down when you read the price.

   While not measured drawings, there is an excellent exploded view of one in the Jeffery Greene book on 18th Century Furniture. Another good source of photos of it is American Furniture in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

   thanks--i have the greene book--i bought a chair so i can check out the price--i think the originasl might not be too far from where i live--I checked your website it is spectacular--i just finished the highboy in curly cherry tat appeared in three volumes of fww brian r.

   Sack's book has good pictures and sizes. If you want to do a strict reproduction I'd consider buying the plans.

   hey brian, i dont know if you are aware that i built a boston bombe that i measured at RISD and it is now on display there until march and i am scheduled for open studio on jan 15th..you may want to think bout attending....and bring some pictures of your past work...who knows we might be able to get you pretty close to the piece you want to try and build....t.machttp://www.tchisel.com
