I’m make new shelves for a pantry closet. The shelves are 3/4 plywood with a Hard Maple nose.
Should I Dado the front of the shelve for the Maple nose, or using Biscuit be just as good?

how big is the maple strip?
usually when i'm capping plywood like this i don't use any fastners or special joints, i just glue it on, but i'm also usually only using a 1/4 x 3/4 thick piece as a cap so there's not alot of room for much joinery.
If its a big piece and you have room for some biscuits go ahead and use them, they will make it easier to keep the strip aligned during clamp up.

The maple nose is 3/4 x 1". I appreciate all come backs and information given.

Lou,
Perhaps I'm too cautious, but with a 1x3/4 I'd use Biscuits..for strength and faster than dadoing. However, I might turn that stock and run a rabbit providing a little extra strength to the shelf. good luck
Use nosing stock that is just thick enough to receive any edge treatment (round-over, chamfer...) and simply glue it on.
