I was curious if anyone knew where I could get the weight capacity for a 10mm barrel hinge? The reason why I ask is because I was considering using them for a corner curio cabinet I was building and needed to estimate how many I would need.
Thanks,

Manufacturers can usually supply that information, there is no standard rating for cabinet hinges that I know of. In most cases two hinges are sufficient.

Look on the Soss web site. I've seen capacity specs for larger hinges of this sort, and they may have specs for the little ones too.
If you can't find the information on their site you can email them. My experiences have been great with really fast replies.
Ditto on Soss hinges. Not the most affordable route but if you're looking for discreet hinges to carry a load, they make high quality examples. You can download PDF spec sheets from their site.
Regards.
Soss recommends against using the barrel type hinge in a vertical door application. Instead use the Soss invisible type hinge. The number of hinges will depend on the size & weight of the door. The Soss site has a chart that will help you select the proper number of hinges.
Thanks guys! After a phone call today it does it appear this is the wrong hinge for the application. Looks like I might look into the invisible type hinge it just seems like a pain to install but... something new to experiment with I guess:)
