I would very much appreciate some help diagnosing and solving a problem with my band saw.
I have a Meber/Laguna 16″ saw that has developed an intermittant whine that is really unpleasant. When it whines it is pretty high pitched and constant, but it doesn’t do it every time I turn it one. It seems to coming from the upper wheel area?
Any ideas on what is causing it and how I can solve it?
Thanks for any ideas/suggesions.
Steve

Check to make sure the blade or wheel are not rubbing on anything and check the upper wheel bearing. Good time to check and lube all of the bearings.
