“…all users will need to re-register.”
Hope I don’t confuse things further here, but I went back and read the original post about this new system. Found this sentence:
“This also means that all users will need to re-register.”
This wasn’t perfectly clear on the page that popped up yesterday, so I’m posting it for emphasis. Unless you registered originally in the last couple of weeks, don’t try to log in! Go to the right side of the page and register using your current Knots email. You may have to pick a new password if your original password was too short (who, me?).
The explanation of the “why” is here:

Forestgirl,
They should have just put you in charge of this whole mess. I'm sure things would have gone a lot smoother if it had been you who explained the process from the beginning. Some of us computer illiterates look to you for guidance in the mysterious and complicated ways of the keyboard.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Brent. I'm always glad to help. I think maybe the initial announcement might have been a case of "too much information." I remember several people saying "Please, just tell me what to do!" Funny. Oh well, I'm hopeful we'll all survive and not too many members will be lost in the ether.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
Unfortunately, it appears that the new registration system will only work as long as you enable acceptance of all cookies in your web browser. Disable them for security or privacy reasons, and the new format won't let you get past the member name/password screen. Kind of a bother . . .

You should be able to add the Tauton site (specifically) to your "allowed list." When you get to the log-in page, make note of the domain, and add that to your allowed list. In WindowsXP (sans SP@, this is accessed via:
Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Web Sites (Edit)
Can't remember if it's any different in SP2; that's on a different computer than my work model.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)Another proud member of the "I Rocked With ToolDoc Club" .... :>)
