Hi, I installed some hardware on a rifle stock using epoxy and would like to remove it without damaging the stock. Can I use a small amount of acetone to loosen the epoxy, or will it damage the hardwood?
Thanks,
Josh

Once cured, it will have little effect, a heat gun will soften cured epoxy.
Soldering iron or pyrography "woodburning" tool held against the hardware may allow you to pull it. Acetone will do doo-doo to cured epoxy
