I have a new patio table which is made of Acacia and would like to preserve the color and condition of the table that will be exposed to rain, snow and sun. what is the best finish for this? Thanks

Outdoor furniture is easy enough to maintain with a coat of an exterior oil such as those made by Cabots and Olympic.
Be aware, no matter what, wood will oxidise when left to the elements. Some people prefer the color unfinished teak turns when left on its own.
I'll also refer you to the article in this months FWW on a garden bench. You'll see many like to just apply an epoxy to the legs where they come in contact with the ground and little else.
