3″ and/or 4″ letter router template
I am wondering if anyone knows of a manufacturer of 3” and/or 4″ router templates for signmaking…..letters and numbers. Thanks

You might google and see if more comes up.
Thanks Dave, but same ol' 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" size...I'm looking for larger ones.
Got my templates from Scott machine developement Corp., Walton, New York some 35 years ago. Don't know if they are still around or not. They had a pantograph mounted router system with a stylus that followed a groove in a phenolic plate, one letter to a plate. The letters came in fonts with multiple letters of the most used ones with numbers and spacers for professional results in a variety of sizes and type styles.
Only problem was you needed one of their pantograph units to work with them. It was too expensive to buy but with a good picture and access to a machine shop, I was in business. The unit was also good for 3 dimensional carving duplicating.
There is also a company that I know is still in business in Watertown, South Dakota, by the name of Terrco,Inc., 221 1st Ave NW, 57201. http://www.terrco.com E-mail: [email protected] They have carving duplicators and sign carvers, so may be able to help you out.
Good luck,
