Drills come in a variety of sizes and styles, but basic drilling safety is universal. Here are a list of guidelines and proceedures for operating a drill press or drill/driver.
The key to using handplanes safely is to choose the right plane for the task and keep the tools sharp and properly tuned. The rest is just practice.
Hand tools are deceptively dangerous, especially the woodworking chisel. Follow this sound advice and you can stay safe while working with chisels.
