Good job presenting the fundamentals of grain direction and planes.
This is really helpful. I've never seen this material presented in such a way before. Thanks, Mike.
Love it, thanks. Well presented.
Finally, a comprehensive explanation on how to deal with planing all types of grain situations.
Thanks. Robert
Thanks Mike P
Again an excellent video. Great job Mike.
Hi. You have helped me a lot. Thank you! jk
Fantastic refresher for me. Thanks.
Thank you for making these videos. I am a beginner and I love the planes. I have read a quite a bit on the subject but this video format really brings it all together and gave me some points that I was not able to find by reading. Nice sharpening stone holder, can we get the plans?
I really liked the video and the explanations. My only critique is that the grain direction on the boards was shown or stated. Thanks for taking the time to make the video!

Wow, Episode 2 was fantastic. I have looked everywhere(with moderate success) for a good explanation of why certain angles of bevels work best on certain types of grain. I am more efficient when understanding why something is done in addition to how something is done. Thank you Mike and FW. I look forward to the other episodes.
