In this video excerpt from the DVD Mastering Your Bandsaw, Mark Duginske takes you step-by-step through the process of making decorative boxes from a solid piece of wood with only a bandsaw. Duginske demonstrates how to make a box in the shape of a maple leaf (photo right), but the shape you make is only limited by your imagination. Follow along with this video tutorial to see how it's done.

Tips for making Bandsawn Boxes:
- For turning tight corners, use a 1/16 in. wide bandsaw blade.
- Use gap filling epoxy to reattach bottom piece of the box.
