At 9.5-lb., the DW368 is the lightest 15-amp saw we looked at. It has a smooth-retracting blade guard and offers clear lines of sight to the cutting zone. The magnesium baseplate is rigid with no appreciable tail flex. The depth markings are embossed on the blade guard, making them easy to read. The bevel-adjustment lever is easy to use, and there are firm detent stops at 22.5° and 45° and a total capacity of 56°. (Some older versions of the DW368 are still on store shelves they don’t have the detents and have only a 50° bevel capacity.)

*Some DW368 and DW369 models with specific date codes have been recalled. Call 888-839-3559 for more information.
