Editor's Review: 14.4v Cordless Drills

by Roland Johnson

review date: October 25, 2005

This is a no-frills drill-driver with good power for the low-buck category. The double-sleeve keyless chucks are limited to 3/8-in. shanks, but the chucks themselves are large enough to get a good grip on. The battery is difficult to release.

The drill is strong enough, but it does not grip the bits well enough. The bits spin in the chuck.
