This is a version of a tool box that I have been making and using for years on the job. I made this one to replace an older worn out one.
This is made from solid black walnut and hard maple. Case work is all dovetailed by hand. Interior is lined with green velvet to protect tools. Drawers are box jointed together with green velvet drawer bottoms. Drawer pulls are green glass knobs.
Finish is walnut stain with three coats of clear satin laquer.
I still have to make a box to take on the job as this one got away from me and is not something I plan to bring to work.
