I designed this desk for myself, as I was desperate for a computer desk at home. Made from curly cherry, curly maple, spalted/diseased maple, and purple heart. The drawer case is dovetailed, as well as the drawers. Drawers are mounted on Blum soft close, undermount slides. Grommits placed for computer and printer. Waterfall edge technique on the right side. I have a furniture design degree, and I wanted to design something unusual, yet not over the top. I think I found the perfect balance of traditional style, yet unconventional. Finished with three coats of wiping poly, then sanded with 1000 grit sandpaper with one coat of wax.
