The idea for this chair was to use bent laminations to create a sleek and modern lounge chair. The seating position is low and relaxed without being too reclined for reading or conversation. The backrest is curved in both the width and height to provide nice support. The seat and back are woven in a traditional shaker tape, which compliments the contemporary design. Finished with a satin oil/varnish and edges have been softly eased.
