Beech Dovetail box
This is a Handmade Dovetail box made from beech with marquerty on lid. It is currently on show in Farmleigh House in Pheonix Park in Dublin Ireland which is a huge achievement. I made it while in college in GMIT Letterfrack in Connemara Co.Galway.
All Dovetails cut by Hand.
Outer: Beech lipping, Black veneer,Ripple Sycamore,Black veneer, Pear wood cross banding.
Inner: Walnut cherry & Maple
Inlay:PurpleHeart Birds eye Maple & Wenge with black veneer, ripple sycamore and black veneer again.
Finished with Lacquer to very high standard
