A welsh lovespoon carved, as per tradition from a single piece of timber. The lovespoon is carved from a native Australian timber New South Wales rosewood, unstained and finished with shellac and wax.
It features chain links, a swivel, three egg-shaped balls in a cage and a heart motif with birds, ribon and plant form decoration. It is approximately thirteen inches by three and a half by one inch.
