This is my workbench with a bench top that measures 26″ wide X 10′-4″ long. The base is two 2-door cabinet’s placed side by side and secured to the wall and constructed out of 3/4″ melamine sheet. The top consists of three layers of MDF wrapped with hard maple. I built it with slots for bench dogs down the front and my clamping capacity is 9 feet – 6 inches. I installed two Sears Craftsman vise’s with quick release and the base provides lots of storage space.
