Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Carving 18th Century American Furniture Elements by Tony Kubalak

It looks like this book would be just the assistance I need to make a ball and claw foot instead of buying the whole set of legs for the 18th century furniture I make. I would certainly enjoy a copy.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: The Frugal Woodturner by Ernie Conover

I just received my Brother's old lathe and some tools for it after Christmas, since he got a new set up. Now that's frugal. Now I need some pointers and help in the right direction to use it. This new book sounds like just the item needed. Thanks in advance.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Windsor Chairmaking by James Mursell

About 10 years ago my first attempt at making a chair was for my dining room. It was a Craftsman style design. I brought the finished chair up from my basement workshop and proudly displayed it, and one of my sons comment was, "Dad, it looks like an electric chair." Ah, kids can be so truthful at times. I certainly would like to give Windsor chair making a try, and this book looks like it will be just the ticket for assistance. I can then match my kitchen Windsor chair set.
