Just bought a house for my mother. the previous owners must have been descended from bats. all the wainscoting trim and doors are stained a deep walnut brown. The kitchen is a galley kitchen with one window and equally dark cabinets. We replace the kitchen appliances with biscue colored. Is there a way I can refinish the cabinets so that they look lighter. I would like to paint them but do not know how to proceed so that they stain will not bleed through or what type of paint to use, enamal etc. Hoping this book will give me some answers

Just started researching box making techniques. I have not seen this book and would like to check it out
