I got interested in woodworking in high school, I had done woodshop in the 8th grade, but I didn't enjoy it as much as when I made my first table from desighn to finish. After high school, I had not lost the interest in wood working, but had not the resorces to do anything. I had moved around the country for many years working as an electrician. I had recentnly gotten maried, she had a seven year old son, while painting his room, I decided to strip, all of the wood frames, and re finish it. His window and door frames as well, as an old pine dresser, I refinished. The windows and door, I finished with red Mahogany stain, with Polyurethane top coat. The dresser was stained with Sedona Red also a polyurethane fiinish. could've done better.
