I visited The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship when on vacation in Rockport Maine and I was absolutely impressed with the facility. The Messler Gallery was showing some fantastic faculty work at that time. With the quality of work on display there what baffles me is why they chose a piece of furniture for their mailings that was so close to the original, it should have been labeled a reproduction. Surely the school would have wanted to display an original work in order to draw people in? Perhaps they didn't know.
