Re: Radial arm saw
I agree with other viewer comments that you designed and constructed a very nice radial arm stand. I have both a dewalt and a delta two arm radial arm unit and am currently designing a new shop where I hope to be able to use both.

Re: Tablesaw upgrades
I have a Rockwell Unisaw that I believe is a 1957 model and wouldn't trade it for any other saw with the possible exception of the new redesigned Unisaw. Just after I purchased my old Unisaw I was wondering whether I should consider installing a newer and bigger motor and discussed that thought with the people a Old Woodworking Machines. They told me that would be a foolish mistake to make and I should keep what I had.

Re: UPDATE: Book Giveaway: Hand Planes in the Modern Shop by Kerry Pierce
I have several hand planes, primarily inherited from my father. Now that I've retired and am completing a new house with a heated wood working shop, it is time to get serious about using them. I'm gathering good information about reconditioning and using them - most of it from Fine Woodworking and finewoodworking.com
