Re: Jewellery Box

Most impressive! I think you understate your work, Sir. The design is beautiful, well proportioned with just the right amount of ornimentation and the craftsmanship is obviously first-rate! Congrats!

Re: Cabin Deck Furniture

Beautiful work. Even though the design may not be your own, the execution is wonderful. May not be 'flashy' but the quality of the workmanship shows. Congrats!

Re: Coaster set

Beautiful work and design! In many ways more impressive than any case-work I've seen in quite awhile. Very demanding work in it's own way. Most impressive. Congrats!

Re: Future Period Furniture Articles

PLEASE! I agree with Ruffnek and CAlcoas: we can find Mission, Shaker, Greene&Greene in just about any WW mag or 'crafts' book. Give us something with more challenge and style! Federal, Duncan-Phyfe, how about an article on bench-carvings: how to and how to use them effectively? How about a step-by-step carving for furniture decoration? ANYTHING but more Mission!

Re: Cutting-edge High School Woodworking Program Thrives in Ohio

A far cry from the very meager offerings in my old high-school! We were 'directed' toward other careers. It is wonderful to see the result of such obvious hard work and inventiveness.

Re: Book Giveaway: Furniture Restoration - Step-by-Step Tips and Techniques for Professional Results

Awfully expensive, even at 300 pages! As someone already mentioned, one usually gets to peek at a few pages. If it is as good as is claimed, it would be dog-eared quickly in my 'library'! Thanks!
