Hello, I'm, Joseph Hemingway PhD. I run 2 Company’s: “Thomas Chippendale Furniture Ltd”, and: “Taylor & Hobson CIC”. My website:
http://www.thomaschippendalefurniture.com
On: 23/Jan/2007, my studio was lost in an Arson fire. Viewed at:
http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?pi=0&ps=20&sf=added&sa=0&sq=&dm=1
Which was done; to put me-down, like an unwanted dog.
But it made me more determined to survive, by May 2007. I had re-requested my apprentiship firm, Taylor & Hobson Ltd, Furnishing Company, Huddersfield, 1851-1992.
And started: Taylor& Hobson CIC, a new school for learning: Rococo Cabinetmaking, Carving and finishing.
This will compliment: its first Inaugurated; International Chapter of: SAPFM, “The English Cabinetmakers”. It has an impressive website: http://www.sapfm.org. Full of: Resources, Interviews, Etc. a good place to stop, and (join) in the fun.

you have met other Famous US makers, but then I realise, Sam Maloof? never had the pleasure of meeting me.
It’s a fact of life? Very few are recognised while living, which is very Sad. As every one needs that feeling of being wanted, and furniture makers life can be a lonely one.
But Sam was training others I read, and this is why his memory will live on.
