Re: Pair of Davenport desks for notepad

Those are among the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen. They are so good they nearly make me want to give up woodworking because I know I'll never reach that level. Your wife is very fortunate indeed. Just incredible. Congratulations on a couple of fine pieces.

Re: My Last Workshop.

I really admire your shop. It just strikes me as what a real shop should look like. Especially with the older iron machines. Your layout looks to be perfect. Congrats

Re: Hanging Tool Chest

Nice piece! Do you have a picture of it closed? Just finished a cabinet for my planes. Doesn't quite come up to your standards. I used felt for lining the bottoms. Was able to pick some up that had adhesive backing at a craft store.

Re: This secret cost me $20,000, but I'll let you have it for free.

Made the same mistake myself as far as what view you used. I was not able to view through entrepreneur eyes and never will be able to. I do admire those that are able to use good business judgment but remain true to the quality they aspire to. The only plus I got out of the experience was a decent detached shop and some nice additional tools. Doesn't quite overcome the feeling of failure but education does have it's price. Good luck to all those who try.

Re: Hickory Bucket

Very impressed.....Must be a very patient carbon based life-form. Would like to learn to do stave work myself. You should be quite proud.

Re: Workbench

FIRST?!!!!!! Used to feel good about my skills...(:-). It is a beautiful piece, though. Very envious. Congrats
